SystemTextActions
sealed
Inherits:TextCommandSource
The platform's own actions on the selected text, at its place in a field's list. On Android they are the apps that act on selected text, such as Translate — one entry per app, labeled with the app's own name, in the system menu and the Unity-UI menu alike. On iOS 16 and later they are the system's own text actions — Look Up, Translate, Share and whatever else the system offers — which the system menu alone presents and runs. Contributes while the selection may be copied.
Remarks
The Android apps are queried every time the menu is presented, as Android's own text view does. The selection stays while an app is open: one opened from an editable field may return a replacement, which
Replace lands when the field has not changed meanwhile, and an app that returns none — any app opened from read-only text, which is handed over read-only — leaves the selection collapsed at its focus, as Android's text view leaves it. On iOS the actions act on the selection of the field that showed the menu; the system offers them while no other field holds the keyboard. iOS lists Share among them unless the field's list holds a ShareCommand, which then takes the system's title.
