Matches LaTeX lists for the paired list modifier: the itemize and enumerate environments and their \items, each item a paragraph of its own and a list inside an item one level deeper.

Remarks

itemize items take bullets and enumerate items numbers counted from 1 in each list. An \item[label] shows its label as the marker, uncounted as in LaTeX, in plain text: groups and commands give their content, escapes, text symbols and math symbols their characters, and an empty label leaves the item unmarked. Environment options are read and ignored. A \\ right after the end of a list ends no line and goes with it. Pair it with ListModifier, whose settings per level pick the markers and the indentation.
