Struct

Text3DGlyphPose

sealed

A glyph's placement in depth on top of the face layout and 2D modifiers gave it: the extrusion stretched about the transform plane, then scale and rotation about the glyph's centre, then a translation, in local units of the text.

Remarks

Writers of one build accumulate through Rotate, Translate, Scale and Stretch: rotations compose in write order, translations add up, scales and depth multiply; the pose always applies depth, scale, rotation and translation in that order. A negative scale mirrors the glyph and keeps its faces outward.
public static Text3DGlyphPose Identity{ get }

The pose that leaves a glyph where layout put it.

public bool IsIdentity{ get }

Whether the pose leaves the glyph where layout put it.

public void Rotate(quaternion turn)

Turns the glyph by turn after its current rotation.

public void Translate(float3 distance)

Moves the glyph by distance local units after its current translation.

public void Scale(float3 factor)

Scales the glyph about its centre on top of its current scale.

public void Stretch(float factor)

Stretches the extrusion about the transform plane on top of its current depth.

public quaternion rotation

Rotation about the glyph's centre.

public float3 offset

Translation after scale and rotation, in local units.

public float3 scale

Scale about the glyph's centre.

public float depth

Multiplier of the extrusion depth about the transform plane.
